Tendring Geodiversity Characterisation Report

A pioneering report characterising the contribution of geodiversity to landscape character in Tendring District, north-east Essex.

The Tendring Geodiversity Characterisation Report defines a range of 18 Geodiversity Characterisation Areas and component Zones in Tendring.

It offers a new GIS-based methodology. The result is detailed baseline information to inform planning decisions that respect local distinctiveness in Earth heritage.
