The lower till is Anglian Lowestoft Formation Walcott Till Memb= er; the upper till comprises two members of the Sheringham Cliffs Formation:-= fluvio-deltaic glacial outwash sands of the Mundesley Sand Member, overlain by stratified till sequence of the Bacton Green Till Member displaying sub-glacial deformation, which  is truncated by glaciofluvial-outwash gravels of the Britons Lane Formation, Stow Hill Sand and Gravel Member.
